Leadership

Dr. Oluwagbenga Popoola

Founder

Dr. Oluwagbenga Popoola is the Founder of CLiCs and a dedicated mental health physician. With years of clinical experience supporting patients with emotional and psychological struggles, he has seen firsthand the power of listening as a healing tool. This inspired him to create CLiCs, a faith-based initiative that offers a safe, confidential space for people in distress to be heard and supported.

He provides strategic leadership and professional oversight, ensuring that CLiCs stays true to its mission of compassion and resilience. Passionate about breaking stigma around mental health, he advocates for accessible, evidence-based, and faith-driven care that restores hope and dignity.

Dr. Oluwatomi Popoola

Co-Founder

Dr. Oluwatomi Popoola, Co-Founder of CLiCs, is a general practitioner with a holistic view of patient care. Her experience caring for individuals in diverse health contexts has revealed how emotional wellbeing is inseparable from physical health. She co-established CLiCs to bridge that gap, offering listening, empathy, and referral support for those in distress.

She plays a vital role in program development and advisory support, helping shape services that combine medical insight with faith-based compassion. Her guiding presence ensures CLiCs maintains its commitment to dignity, inclusiveness, and care for all.

Our Counsellors & Volunteers

Every day, they:

  • Refer individuals for professional medical, legal, or faith-based support where necessary..

Together, our counsellors and volunteers embody the heart of CLiCs: listening with love, responding with care.
